Thursday, September 16, 2021 10 Tishrei 5782 - 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM - Goor Sanctuary

Kol Nidrei, Yom Kippur Day with services in the morning as well as Yizkor and Neilah, will all be in the Goor Sanctuary on the Tarzana campus.

Below are the information and links you will need to request your tickets. As a member, you are entitled to one ticket for each member of your household, including children 12 to 30. In addition, you can purchase tickets for members of your extended family or adult children at $50 per ticket. (Tickets for non-members will be available at a later date depending on availability.)

To request your High Holy Day tickets and purchase guest tickets, please click: Ticket Order Form. You must be signed into the Temple Judea membership database to request your complimentary tickets. If you experience difficulty logging into our member portal or have never logged in before, please contact memberservices@templejudea.com.

Important details to note:

  • Request your tickets here: Ticket Order Form

  • Your ticket will have your name on it; it is not transferable.

  • Tickets will be distributed about a week before Rosh Hashanah to all who have renewed their membership for the 2021-22 year.  If you haven't yet renewed, you can do so HERE.

  • All services in the Goor Sanctuary are limited to those people who are fully vaccinated against COVID. Everyone will be required to show proof of vaccination at the door along with a photo ID; both the ID and the proof of vaccination must match the name on the ticket. (Some acceptable forms of proof of vaccination are the actual vaccination card; a picture of the card with your name visible; a document from the State of California; the state-issued electronic QR Code in the ‘wallet’ on your phone.)

  • Given the current LA County mask mandate, everybody is required to wear a mask in the building, including during services.

  • There are NO exceptions to these protocols. No staff member or other member can vouch for you.  If you forget your ticket, photo ID, or vaccination certificate, we will be forced to turn you away, and we would hate to have to do that. We are grateful for your cooperation.

For  families with young children from ages 3 - 8, there will be a young people service on Yom Kippur afternoon, at 2:30 pm, in the Courtyard at temple. It will be outside, no tickets are necessary, and everyone is welcome.

Finally, for those who prefer to watch from home, all of our High Holy Day services will be live streamed from the Goor Sanctuary. You can find the services on our website, on YouTube Live and on Facebook Live.  They will not be available on Zoom. Regardless of where or how you join us, we believe the experience will be intimate and inspirational.

We are looking forward to once again gathering as a community to welcome in the new year, to pray together as we turn towards the future. And although we are not quite back to the Holy Days as they were pre-COVID, we believe this may be the most meaningful and inspirational Holy Days we’ve experienced in decades -- perhaps in our lifetimes. Please join us.
