We are a membership community, made up of individuals and families who commit to one another and to the principles of Reform Judaism. At the core of who we are is connection and community, so please help us get to know you and other members of your household by completing the form below.

Connections @ Temple Judea: Please list any friends or relatives who are members of the Temple Judea community and their relationship to you. (e.g.:  Kim Birbrower: Member 1's cousin).
Children 26+ and Non-Member Immediate Family: In case of an emergency, and in anticipation of sharing your important lifecycle events with our community, please list any other immediate family members not included above you'd like us to know about: your adult children (and grandchildren), parents, siblings and their children -- even if they are not Temple members.
Ancestors You Want to Honor: Tell us about any family members whose Yahrzeit (anniversary of death) you would like us to remember. Please be sure to provide the name, relationship, and date of death of your loved one. If you do not have the date of death at this time, you may complete this section later from your account.

GETTING TO KNOW YOU BETTER
ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL COMMITMENT

Like all synagogues, Temple Judea relies on contributions from every family to support our general operations. Your annual commitment allows Temple Judea to have a vibrant Jewish community led by amazing clergy and dedicated staff, innovative services and programs, state-of-the-art facilities, and more!

Our budgeted annual operating costs average approximately $3,830 per member unit, not including security and maintenance costs. While Temple Judea does not turn away anyone for legitimate financial reasons, we strongly encourage individuals to pay according to their means. If you are financially able, we ask that you  work a full annual commitment into your budget and make temple membership a priority investment in your Jewish lives. Consider giving at the highest level for which you qualify, or even something extra. Each of us has a stake in maintaining Temple Judea. By committing on an annual basis, you help our synagogue predict and budget, which ensures we meet our day-to-day operating expenses, plan successful programs, and provide support to community members in need. 

When families experience hardship and legitimately cannot pay full Annual Commitment, we work with them confidentially to determine an appropriate annual commitment level. Please contact Richard Hoffman at memberservices@templejudea.com to begin this conversation. 

*Please note that Patrons and Pillars are optional levels for those who are able to contribute additional funds to ensure the future of Temple Judea. To learn more about the Pillars Program, click here. The Pillar Program is open to members who are not receiving financial assistance from Temple Judea.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Your Annual Commitment contribution above DOES NOT include the required Security & Maintenance Fee or the following optional enrollments. If you choose to enroll in or attend these programs, additional fees may be assessed.
• Tuition for Early Childhood Education / Parenting Center
• Tuition for Religious School 
• Tuition for Camp Sababa
• B'nei Mitzvah fees 
• Events, classes, dinners, or concerts that have an additional fee 
• Optional participation with our auxiliary groups
 
Please note: This "TOTAL" does not include any tuition for Religious School, Camp Sababa, Early Childhood Education Center or Parenting Center, B'nei Mitzvah fees, or fees associated with other events, classes, dinners, or concerts that may have an additional fee during the year.

A 2.8% online payment surcharge will be automatically included to each credit card transactions. There is no fee with payments made by check or e-check (ACH bank-to-bank transfers).
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

We rely on every family contributing at the level appropriate to them.  But we understand that for some families, temple membership is simply not affordable.  Temple Judea has limited funds, thanks to the generosity of other temple members, to offer financial assistance to those family with true financial need.   

Families with Nursery School children should click here for the form to apply for Financial Assistance.   Please indicate that on the next question, complete the form, submit it, and we will be in touch with you. 

All others, please reach out to Richard Hoffman at memberservices@templejudea.com for assistance with making a request for financial assistance. 

We ask that you consider the maximum amount you can contribute annually to help support the Temple Judea community.  

In addition to annual commitment, each family is assessed an annual Security & Maintenance Fee of $700. This fee is used to ensure campus safety and to maintain the building and its unexpected repair costs.

Your financial total on this form does not include:
• Tuition for Early Childhood Center, Parenting Center, Religious School, Camp Sababa
• B'nei Mitzvah fees
• Cost of admission to ticketed events during the year
• Optional support of our auxiliaries 

This annual commitment must be fulfilled by the coming June. We do offer a number of payment options but please note: if you pay monthly, this does not constitute a monthly membership. You are responsible for the entire amount. 

We will contact you once the committee has had a chance to review your request.  Please expect to wait 2 - 3 weeks for a response. 

You agree that all the information you provided on this form is true and accurate.  You give permission for the VP Finance and/or the Senior Administrative Staff at Temple Judea independently verify any of the information provided, with the condition that all information is kept strictly confidential.  

You agree to keep the nature of any financial arrangement you make with Temple Judea strictly confidential.  Any breach of confidentiality may result in the dissolution of your arrangement. 

Any agreement made is done so on an annual basis and will be reviewed and renegotiated each year during renewals.   

You agree that a condition of this arrangement is to be set up on automatic payments to a credit or debit card.
