7:00 PM - 8:00 PMZoom
Rabbi Josh Aaronson hosts an informative evening with Election Expert Bob Stern as we look at voting in the US: is there election fraud that needs to be fixed? Will recent legislation suppress the vote?
We will examine the conflict between election security and voter access, bills that may change who determines election results, and how proposed federal voting reform legislation may affect what is happening in the states.
We hope you will
participate in this fact-based, non-partisan discussion. You can submit questions in the "notes" field below when you register, by email to Joanne Busansky at Jbusansky@gmail.com, or during the Zoom event in the chat.

Bob Stern is past President of the Center for Governmental Studies, a Los Angeles based group that studied the government process for nearly 30 years. He served as Elections Counsel for the California Secretary of State’s office in the early 70’s and President of the Council on Governmental Ethics Laws, an organization that regulates election, campaign finance, ethics and lobbying laws. The Washington Monthly magazine described him as a “campaign finance guru," and Peter Schrag, in the Sacramento Bee, called him the “godfather of modern political reform in California.” He has presented a course yearly at UCLA Extension since 2016 and taught “Current Events” at Santa Monica Emeritus’ Summer and Winter sessions since 2017. Bob is a graduate of Pomona College and Stanford Law School.
