Adam Nimoy is a graduate of UC Berkeley and Loyola Law School. He practiced entertainment law for seven years before changing careers to become a television director.  In 2004 he began his program of 12-step recovery and has been sober ever since. In 2016, he directed the documentary film For The Love Of Spock and in 2024 he published a memoir entitled The Most Human: Reconciling With My Father Leonard Nimoy. Nimoy serves on the board of Beit T’Shuvah, a Jewish residential addiction treatment center.
