Join the TJVillage Movie Club at the Encino Laemmle Theater. After watching the film, we’ll head to a local restaurant for food and a post film discussion. The name of the film will be available the week before. RSVP required for dinner reservation.

This month TJVillage movie-goers have two choices:

#1 “Between the Temples” A cantor, (Jason Schwartzman) in a crisis of faith, finds his world turned upside down when his school teacher (Carol Kane) re-enters his life as an adult Bat Mitzvah student.

#2 “His Three Daughters” A bittersweet, often funny story of an elderly patriarch when his three daughters come to him in his final days. Cast includes Carrie Coons (Gilded Age), Elizabeth Olsen (Wandavision, Captain America) and Natasha Lyonne (Russian Doll, American Pie)

A post-film discussion for both films will take place at Super Wok in Tarzana, 5818 Reseda Blvd.
